1. Introduction
LineCrush ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service. LineCrush provides sports analysis and insights only - we are not a sportsbook and do not accept wagers.
2. Information We Collect

When you register for an account, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and payment information.
2.2 Age Verification and Responsible Gaming

- •Age is a condition of eligibility that you agree to when you use LineCrush. We do not currently ask for, or verify, your date of birth
- •LineCrush provides analysis and insights only - we are not a sportsbook and do not accept wagers
- •We encourage responsible gaming practices and may collect data to identify problematic usage patterns
2.3 Usage Data
We collect information about your interactions with the service, including IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, referring URLs, and pages viewed.
2.4 Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. Users can manage their cookie preferences through their browser settings.
2.5 UTM Parameters
We use UTM (Urchin Tracking Module) parameters in URLs to track the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns and to understand how users discover our content. These parameters are also added to links when you share content from our platform.
2.6 Bot and AI Service Data
When you use @LineCrushBot on Twitter/X or other platforms, we collect:
- •Images of betslips or lineups you submit for analysis
- •Your social media handle and interaction data
- •Generated reports and analysis preferences
2.7 Third-Party Content Analysis

- •Saved favorite quotes and personal notes
3. How We Use Your Information
To Provide and Maintain Our Service
We use your information to deliver and maintain the functionality of the service, including player reports, podcast insights, and real-time analysis.
To Improve Our Service
We analyze usage data to improve our service, including through data analysis and research.
To Communicate with You
We use your contact information to send you updates, newsletters, marketing materials, and other information.
To Process Transactions
We use secure payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle subscription payments. We store minimal payment information necessary for subscription management. Promotional offers (like Summer Special pricing) may be tracked for billing purposes. Subscription tier data is used to provide appropriate feature access.
To Comply with Legal Obligations
We may use your information to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Content Sharing, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
Our service includes features that allow you to share content with others through various platforms.
Share Tracking
When you use our sharing features, we collect anonymous data about these actions, including which platforms content is shared to and which content items are most frequently shared.
UTM Parameters in Shared Links
When you share content from our site, we add tracking parameters (UTM tags) to the shared URLs. These parameters help us understand how users discover and engage with our content.
Google Tag Manager
We load Google Tag Manager, a container that lets us configure and deploy measurement tags. Tags delivered through this container may set cookies and receive your IP address, user agent, and the pages you view.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We use Google Ads conversion tags to measure signups and purchases that follow one of our ads. When you are signed in, we also send Google an enhanced-conversion signal derived from your email address; the address is hashed in your browser before it is transmitted.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API
On marketing and signup pages, and on any page you visit for a period after you sign up, we load the Meta Pixel. Our servers also send Meta conversion events for signups and purchases. These events can include a hashed version of your email address, a hashed account identifier, your IP address, your user agent, and Meta click and browser identifiers.
X (Twitter) Pixel and Conversion API
On marketing and signup pages, and on any page you visit for a period after you sign up, we load the X advertising pixel. Our servers send X conversion events for signups and purchases, which can include a hashed email address, your IP address, your user agent, and the X click identifier.
Reddit Advertising Pixel
On marketing pages we load the Reddit advertising pixel to measure visits and signups that follow our Reddit ads.
Rumble Advertising
On marketing pages we load a Rumble advertising tag, and our servers report conversion events to Rumble using a click identifier and the value of the action. We do not send Rumble your name, email address, or account identifier.
Hotjar (a Contentsquare company): Session Recording and Heatmaps
On marketing pages, the signup and sign-in pages, the pricing pages, and the checkout and success pages, we use Hotjar to record how the page is used. This includes session recordings and heatmaps capturing mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and pages viewed, together with your IP address, device, and browser. We do not use Hotjar to collect the content you type into forms. Payment card details are never entered on a LineCrush page at all: checkout redirects to Stripe's own hosted payment page.
Embedded Third-Party Content
Some pages embed content served by other companies, including YouTube videos, X (Twitter) posts, Giphy images, and the Calendly scheduling widget. When an embed loads, that company receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, whether or not you interact with it.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights
Our hosting provider, Vercel, collects aggregated page-view and page-performance measurements for our own analytics. These measurements are not used for advertising.
Affiliate Attribution (Tolt)
If you arrive through a creator or affiliate link, we send our affiliate platform, Tolt, the information needed to credit that referral, which is your email address plus the referral and account identifiers.
Microsoft Advertising
We use Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) to measure visits and completed signups that follow interactions with our Microsoft ads. Microsoft may use cookies or similar identifiers for attribution and reporting. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Image Generation
When you share quotes or other content, our service may generate shareable images. These images are designed to be shared on social media and messaging platforms.
Some of these measurements are sent from your browser and some are sent from our servers after you sign up or subscribe, which means turning off cookies alone does not stop all of them. We do not sell your personal information for money. Because some of this advertising measurement counts as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, you can opt out at any time as described in Section 10. You can also limit browser-based tracking through your browser's cookie settings or a Global Privacy Control signal, and you can opt out of Hotjar recording at Hotjar's do-not-track page. We require the providers listed above to protect your information to the same standard described in this Privacy Policy and to use it only for the purposes we specify.
4.1 Platform-Specific Features
- •LineCrush Scout: Tracks which players you research and how often
- •Daily Matches: Records which matches and analysis you view
- •100x Challenge: When available, tracks Jay's research and progress
- •Saved Content: Your favorite quotes and custom notes are stored securely
5. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
LineCrush uses artificial intelligence to generate player reports, summaries, picks, and other analysis. Some of that processing involves information you give us, and some of it is sent to third-party AI providers who run the underlying models on our behalf.
- •What we send: content you submit for analysis. This includes betslip, lineup, and draft screenshots you upload, voice recordings you make in our voice features (which are transcribed), messages you type to our assistant, names and short text you enter in party games and community tools, and any voice sample you upload to have a voice cloned.
- •Who receives it: the third-party model providers that run these features for us, currently OpenAI, Google (Gemini), Perplexity for web-search answers, and ElevenLabs for generated and cloned audio. The specific providers change as we improve the service.
- •What we do not send: we do not send your payment card details or your password to any AI provider.
- •Training: LineCrush does not use your individual picks, bets, or personal information to train AI models, and we may use aggregated, de-identified usage patterns to improve the service. We instruct our providers to process your content only to deliver the feature you requested, but each provider also handles data under its own terms, so review those terms if this matters to you.
- •Accuracy: AI output can be wrong. Section 27 of our Terms of Service explains the limits of AI-generated content, and you should verify it independently.
Images you upload for analysis are stored in our cloud storage so the resulting report keeps working, and generated audio and cloned voices are stored with our audio provider until deleted. If you would rather not have content processed this way, do not submit it to our AI-powered features. To ask about, or request deletion of, a specific upload or voice clone, contact us at hello@linecrush.com.
6. Mobile Applications (iOS and Android)
This Privacy Policy also covers the LineCrush apps for iOS and Android. The apps collect the same categories of information described above, with these app-specific points:
- •Account data: the apps sign you in through Clerk, our authentication provider, and receive the same account identifiers and email address as the website.
- •Push notifications: if you enable them, we store a device push token so we can send you alerts. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time.
- •Device permissions: the apps ask for a device permission only when you use a feature that needs it, and you can decline or revoke each one in your device settings. On iOS that can include the microphone, camera, photo library, or Face ID. Android asks only for the microphone and for notifications; picking an image there uses the system photo picker, which needs no permission.
- •No cross-app tracking: the apps do not track you across other companies' apps and websites, do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), and therefore do not present an App Tracking Transparency prompt. The advertising pixels described in Section 4 run on our website, not inside the apps.
- •Deleting your account: both apps let you delete your account from the Settings screen, which deletes your account data as described in Section 9. If you have an active paid subscription, you may need to cancel it first, in the store where you bought it or in web billing.
- •App Store purchases: subscriptions bought inside the iOS app are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active, not your payment card details.
7. How We Share Your Information
With Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing, data analysis, and customer service.
For Legal Reasons
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
In Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
Social Media Platforms
When using @LineCrushBot on Twitter/X, certain data is processed through their platforms. We comply with Twitter/X API terms and privacy requirements. Your social media handle may be visible when using public bot features.
Categories of Service Providers
The providers we rely on include Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Neon and Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage, and email), Vercel (website hosting), Tolt (affiliate attribution), the AI providers named in Section 5, and the analytics and advertising partners named in Section 4.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We require every third party that receives your personal information from us to protect it to the same standard described in this Privacy Policy, to use it only for the purposes we specify, and not to sell it. You can withdraw consent, opt out of marketing, or ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing hello@linecrush.com or by using the account settings described in Section 9.
8. Data Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.1 Data Retention
- •Account data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days
- •Payment records: Retained as required by financial regulations (typically 7 years)
- •Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 24 months
- •Saved content and favorites: Retained until you delete them
9. Your Data Protection Rights
Access, Correction, and Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can do this through your account settings or by contacting us.
Data Portability
You have the right to request a copy of your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Objection and Restriction of Processing
You have the right to object to or restrict our processing of your personal data under certain conditions.
Withdraw Consent
If we are processing your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time.
Subscription Management
You can downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period. Historical data and saved content may be exported before account deletion.
10. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the rights below in addition to those in Section 9.
- •The right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, the business purpose, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to.
- •The right to delete the personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
- •The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- •The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- •The right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require this option.
- •The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share identifiers and online activity with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described in Section 4, and California law treats that as "sharing." To opt out, email hello@linecrush.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share," or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we treat as a valid opt-out request for that browser.
In the preceding twelve months we collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, commercial information such as subscription records, internet and network activity, approximate location inferred from IP address, and inferences drawn from your use of the service. We disclosed identifiers and internet activity to the advertising and analytics partners named in Section 4 and to the service providers named in Section 7. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@linecrush.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we will ask for proof of their authority. We will verify your request using your account email address and respond within the time the law allows.
11. EEA, UK, and Swiss Privacy Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- •Performance of a contract: to create and run your account, deliver the service, and process your subscription.
- •Legitimate interests: to secure the service, prevent abuse, measure and improve how the product works, and understand which of our marketing reaches people, balanced against your rights.
- •Consent: for marketing email and for non-essential cookies and advertising technologies where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time, and withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
- •Legal obligation: to meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
LineCrush is the data controller for this processing. We transfer personal data to the United States, where we and our providers operate. Where required, those transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or a provider's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, or to request a copy of the safeguards we use, contact us at hello@linecrush.com.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12.1 Jurisdiction-Specific Requirements
- •We comply with sports betting analysis regulations in applicable jurisdictions
- •Users are responsible for ensuring their use of our insights complies with local laws
- •We may restrict access from jurisdictions where sports betting analysis is prohibited
13. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for use by children under the age of 21. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 21. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 21, we will take steps to delete such information.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
