LitRPG: Choice Adventure Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version
LitRPG: Choice Adventure ("the app"), for iPhone and Android, is published by LineCrush Inc ("we" or "us"). The app has no account and no sign-in, shows no ads, runs no analytics, and does not track you. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information from the app.
2. Your Voice
You can answer the story out loud. The app asks for microphone and speech recognition permission the first time a choice comes up, never at launch. The microphone listens only while a choice is open, after the options have been read, and never while the book is reading to you.
Your spoken answer is turned into A, B, C or D by your phone's own speech recognition. On phones that support on-device recognition, that happens entirely on the phone. On phones that do not, your phone's speech service (Apple on iPhone, the device's speech recognition service on Android) may process the audio under its own privacy policy. The app keeps no recordings, and your voice and what you said are never sent to LineCrush.
The microphone is optional. If you decline the permission, you can still tap or swipe to make every choice.
3. Your Saves
Your progress and settings are stored on your device. If you use your phone's backup (iCloud or Google), they are included in that backup like any app's data. Story audio and book files the app downloads are kept in a cache on the device and are not backed up. Deleting the app deletes its saves from the device.
4. What the App Downloads
The books, covers, and narration stream from our content storage on Amazon Web Services. As with any download, that server receives the standard technical details needed to deliver the files, such as your IP address. The app sends nothing else about you, and we do not use those details to identify you or build a profile.
5. Children
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
6. Changes to This Policy
If the app changes how it handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
