LOUISIANA TECH BULLDOGS @ LSU

Baton Rouge closes LSU’s opening home stand

LSU hosts Louisiana Tech at the Maravich Center Monday at 7 p.m. CT in the finale of its season-opening three-game home stand, with both teams unbeaten.

Wenger gives Tech a proven scoring option

Braylon Wenger opened with 28 points and four made threes against Kent State before scoring 13 in the next game, making his scoring range a key test for LSU’s perimeter defense.

LSU’s size has made an early impact

Against Texas Southern, LSU scored 62 points in the paint, while Saliou Niang and Michael Ruzic each grabbed 11 rebounds, underscoring Louisiana Tech’s need to limit interior touches and second chances.

Dent’s ball security against Tech’s pressure

Donovan Dent has 20 assists without a turnover through LSU’s first two games; Louisiana Tech’s 18 steals in its latest outing make pressure without surrendering easy possessions a key matchup question.

Conditional LSU moneyline lean

LSU is the cautious outright lean, but no confirmed spread or moneyline was available; avoid a steep premium.

Wait on the full-game total

Pass on the total until a number is posted; LSU has two recent completed games and Louisiana Tech has one, providing limited evidence for a reliable over/under position.
