Third-down conversions are a UTEP concern

Through nine 2026 games, UTEP converted 29 of 113 third downs (25.66%); sustaining drives will be important against Wyoming, which controlled possession for nearly 36 minutes in its last win.

Pick Ideas

Angles drawn from the matchup analysis above and refreshed as the news changes. They are a separate read from the LineCrush pick for this matchup, so the two can land on different sides.

Lean: Wyoming -10

At a listed -10, Wyoming faces a UTEP team whose opponents have recorded 41 sacks through nine games, a protection issue that could make it harder for the home side to keep pace.

Lean: Under 43.5

At a listed total of 43.5, consider the under: UTEP has made 3 of 8 field-goal attempts in 2026, limiting fallback scoring on stalled drives.
