NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL EAGLES @ LONGWOOD LANCERS

Sanon gives the Eagles an early perimeter threat

Cristian Sanon scored 19 points and made five three-pointers in the season opener, giving North Carolina Central a perimeter threat against Longwood.

Kane's playmaking is a key matchup to watch

Darius Kane had seven assists against Georgia, and his distribution could help North Carolina Central avoid empty possessions against Longwood's pressure.

Homecoming adds an energetic setting

Longwood's annual Homecoming game is expected to draw a near-capacity crowd, and its 3-0 record in Homecoming games at the Joan Perry Brock Center gives the hosts a meaningful setting advantage.

The recent series has been competitive

The teams split their two meetings in both 2023 and 2024, while Longwood won last season's matchup in Durham, suggesting familiarity but offering limited evidence about this season's rosters.

Availability news is limited

Longwood's published game preview does not report injuries or lineup changes, so player availability remains unconfirmed.

North Carolina Central +11.5 or better

Consider the over only at 148.5

The over is a cautious lean at 148.5, but the small early-season sample makes it volatile.

Pass on Longwood's moneyline at heavy juice

Pass on Longwood's moneyline around -800 because the return offers little value relative to the risk.
