Washington Commanders @ New York Giants

A quick rematch in prime time

The teams meet Thursday, Nov. 12, at MetLife Stadium at 8:15 p.m. ET, four days after both play their Week 9 games on Nov. 8.

October meeting ended level

Washington and New York tied 27-27 on Oct. 11, with Malik Nabers leading the Giants with 11 catches for 121 yards and a touchdown.

Nabers’ Thursday absence needs context

Nabers did not practice Thursday and is listed as questionable (undisclosed), although he said he would be good for Sunday's game; he had been a full participant in every practice in Week 6, Week 7 and Wednesday's practice.

Skattebo’s availability remains uncertain

Skattebo is listed as questionable with a hamstring injury after missing Thursday's practice and working with trainers off to the side; a report said he was not ruled out for Sunday but was more likely to ramp up for Thursday against Washington.

Washington gets a road test before the rematch

The Commanders are scheduled to host the Rams on Nov. 8 before traveling to New York, so their performance and postgame health updates could shape the Week 10 outlook.

Pick Ideas

Angles drawn from the matchup analysis above and refreshed as the news changes. They are a separate read from the LineCrush pick for this matchup, so the two can land on different sides.

Commanders +1.5

Consider Washington +1.5 rather than laying points with New York in a near-pick’em market; compare books and avoid chasing a worse number.

Wait on the game total

The current total is around 45 to 45.5; consider waiting until after the Nov. 8 games and the next injury updates before betting.
