Philadelphia Flyers @ New York Rangers

Rangers get a reset at home

New York snapped its four-game skid with a 3-1 win over St. Louis on Tuesday; Adam Fox and J.T. Miller each had two points. On Tuesday, Fox and Miller were also listed in the PP2 group.

Flyers need a sharper start

Philadelphia fell 4-2 to Minnesota after allowing the first two goals, extending its recurring slow-start problem; the Rangers game opens a five-game road trip for the Flyers.

Projected goalie matchup, not yet confirmed

Dan Vladar and Dylan Garand are projected to start for Philadelphia and New York, respectively; neither projection is confirmation. Both started Tuesday, with Garand coming off a 32-save performance.

Injuries thin both teams’ options

Philadelphia is without Rasmus Ristolainen; New York’s injury list includes Joe Veleno, while Sean Durzi is day-to-day after being scratched Tuesday. Confirmed lineups could clarify how the Rangers handle their absences.

Special teams favor New York

The Rangers’ penalty kill has been considerably more effective than Philadelphia’s power play this season, a gap that could matter if the Flyers’ top unit struggles to convert.

Rangers moneyline: shop for a better number

Consider New York on the moneyline, but shop for -145 or better because shorter prices leave little margin.

Under 6.0 goals, if available

The six-goal alternate under offers protection if the game lands on exactly six; check the confirmed goalies before betting.
